I want dates that feel personal, not perfect
The plan does not need to be impressive. I mostly want to feel like it was chosen with me in mind.
I used to think a great date needed a perfect location and a perfect plan. Now I think the details matter much less than the thought behind them.
If I mentioned loving a certain food and someone remembers, that feels special. If we choose somewhere because we both genuinely want to go, even better.
A date can be simple and still feel romantic when both people are present and interested in each other.
I would rather have an ordinary evening with good conversation than an elaborate plan where neither person can relax.
